• CEM collects only the data necessary for the management of its activities:

• First and last name, date of birth

• Postal address, email, phone number

• Membership fee payment data (excluding card numbers)

• Information relating to the Swiss Fencing licence

• Purposes of Processing

• Management of registrations and membership fees

• Internal club communications

• Mandatory transmission to Swiss Fencing (licence)

• Organisation of training sessions, camps and competitions

• Legal Basis

• Performance of a contract (club membership) and legitimate interest of the association. Processing carried out in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP, revised as of 1 September 2023).

• Retention Data is retained for the duration of membership, then for 5 years after its end, in accordance with Swiss legal obligations.

• Data Sharing

• Data is neither sold nor transferred to third parties. It is transmitted to Swiss Fencing as part of the mandatory affiliation process.

• Cookies and Analytics

• This website is hosted on the Wix platform. As such, technical cookies and Wix's integrated analytics tools may be active. These tools collect anonymised browsing data (pages visited, session duration, traffic source) solely for the purpose of improving the site. No personally identifiable data is collected for advertising purposes.
